Neuroblastoma UK was formed in October 1982 as The Neuroblastoma Society by a group of parents whose children were suffering from or had died from neuroblastoma, a very aggressive childhood cancer affecting children up to about the age of 14 years. The Trust Deed formally creating the charity was signed on 20 May 1983. Neuroblastoma UK is registered as a national charity 326385 with the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
Richie Austin is a proud and long-standing supporter of Neuroblastoma UK, a charity dedicated to funding vital research into neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer.
This cause is extremely close to Richie’s heart following his family’s personal loss to this devastating disease.
You can learn more about their story at www.gemmasharpe.com.
Since 2006, Richie has helped raise funds for neuroblastoma research, most notably through the sale of his exclusive charity wristbands at live performances, with proceeds going directly to supporting the charity’s work.
